About Spice Apps

Spice Apps LLC believes the rapidly emerging marketplace for apps on the Web, the desktop and mobile devices needs more extensibility and flexibility. While most application developers are building businesses around their closed-source products, Spice Apps is building its around offering SDKs to developers for more rapid and customizable app development, while at the same time offering individuals free apps that stack up well to many paid apps.

Clove is our first app nearing public beta release. It will launch first as a desktop app, much like Tweetdeck and Seesmic Desktop, but with enhanced features, plus an SDK for agencies, brands and developers to easily create tailored social media solutions. Read more about Clove's benefits for individuals and companies.

As you see on our home page, we have several other 'spices' in the works, such as Ginger, a web-based video player just selected by one of the world's largest Web hosting companies, Rackspace, for its site. It is self-hosted, open source and built on a framework for easy extendability.
